About the Work

Interlock I & II and Loop Studies I, II & III focus on the simplicity of a bold black line. Without color, the attention shifts to how the lines move, overlap, and connect. These studies are about experimenting with those relationships and seeing how much can be created with so little.

The Loop Series is an exploration of how a simple line can create something more complex. As lines curve, overlap, and connect, they create unexpected shapes, moments of tension, and spaces of their own. Whether working in bold black and white or introducing color, the focus remains on the movement of the line and the relationships it creates.
